This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes how (“AdDriver”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles the information our users (“you” and “your”, as described below under “Scope of this Policy”) submit to us through our website: (the “Website”) and mobile application (the “App”). As a user, you may submit a wide range of information (including personal information) to us in order to use the services provided through our Website and App (the “Services”). By accessing or using this Website, the App or our Services, agree with this Policy and agree to be bound by its terms. You can withdraw your consent at any time, however, if you choose to do so, we may not be able to provide you with the Services you request.

We at AdDriver recognize the importance of your privacy, so we have developed this Policy to describe the types of information that our Website and App collect and the ways in which we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.

As part of the Services we provide through our Website and App, we connect you with third parties who are seeking to rent exterior vehicle space for advertisements (“Marketers”). We also connect our users with vehicle wrapping services provided through third parties (“Wrapping Providers”). If you choose to offer your services as a “Driver” through the Website or App, we may share your personal information with the Marketers and Wrapping Providers so that they can contact you and enter into agreements with you for advertising or vehicle wrapping, as applicable. We describe this more in detail below under “Do you share my information with others”. We highly recommend that you also review the Marketers’ and Wrapping Providers’ privacy policies that describe how they handle personal information that you provide to them.

Scope of this Policy

In this Policy, “you” or “your” means any individual who has requested, applied for or been supplied with Services by AdDriver through the Website or App, including any other individual for whom you have acted as agent, representative or guardian. This Policy applies to personal information about individuals only and does not apply to the information collected, used or disclosed with respect to corporate or commercial entities.

What is “Personal Information”?

Personal information is any information about an identifiable individual. This includes information such as your name, age, contact details, address, email address, and payment information. Our Website and App collect the personal information that you submit to us.

What kind of information do you collect from me when I use the Website or App?

We collect and maintain range of information required for you to get the most out of your use of the Website, the App and our Services. In order to register for an AdDriver account, we will collect: your cell phone number for verification, your full name, details on the company you work for, photo of your driver's license, your insurance, proof of ownership of your equipment, a void cheque, and basic contact details such as your mailing address and email address. This is information is collected and used to assess your eligibility as a Driver. You can access and edit all of your account details through our Website or App in your “My Profile” section from your left side menu within the Website or App.

Why do you collect information from me?

We only collect the necessary information from you to provide you with the Services available through our Website and App. We collect information in order to:

  • Establish, maintain and manage our relationship with you so that we may provide you with, or receive from you, the services that have been requested;
  • Enable you to register, access and maintain an account with us;
  • Allow you to participate in, subscribe to or otherwise receive Services from us;
  • Be able to comply with your requests, communicate with you about your account, the Services and updates to our Website and App;
  • Understand your preferences and tailor offers and services to you based on these preferences;
  • Protect AdDriver against error, fraud, theft and damage to our goods and property;
  • Conduct analysis and evaluations to understand usage and trends in order to improve our Website, App, Services, and marketing communications;
  • Enable us to comply with all applicable law or regulatory process; and
  • Any other reasonable purpose to which you consent.

By consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information through the use of our Website, App and/or Services, you allow us to fulfill the purposes for which we collect you personal information. When we collect your information for research and development purposes, we ensure that any information used for our analysis and reports will be de-identified and aggregated in a manner that will not identify you.

We may use or disclose your personal information:

  • As permitted or required by applicable law or regulatory requirements;
  • For the purposes described in this Policy; and
  • For any additional purposes for which we have obtained your consent to the use or disclosure of your personal information.
How do you collect my information?

We collect information from you in a variety of ways through our Website and App.

Active collection

We will collect information that you provide to us in connection with your use of the Website or App when you: (i) register and create a user account; (ii) use or request to use or access the Services, including but not limited to the distance driven by you and your location tracked via GPS, and photos you upload of your wrapped vehicle and odometer readings;(iii) make changes and update your user profile; (iv) upload photos of your driver’s license and insurance; and (v) send email messages, queries, or other information to us including Feedback, as defined below. The purpose of collecting this information to confirm that you legally entitled to drive.

Passive collection

Like many other mobile applications, certain information may be passively collected using various technologies so we can offer you the full functionality of our Website or App. For example, when you create a new job record, we may automatically collect your device location/GPS coordinates so that you can accurately log the distance and route taken for your job.

Do you share my information with others?

Other users

Since our goal is to help you make connections with others, the main sharing of users’ information is with other users. By using or accessing our Website or App you are choosing to share your personal information with other users. Please exercise caution in sharing your information and make sure that the information you share is information that you are comfortable being publicly viewable since neither you nor we can control what others do with your information once you share it on or through our Website or App.

Third party service providers

We may share your information with other parties in certain situations, such as service providers acting on our behalf to provide services to you through the Website or App. For example, if you have submitted a Driver Application through our Website or App, you must also separately disclose certain personal information to Inline Reference Check (“Inline”) in order to complete a background to qualify as a driver for the purpose of using our Services(the “Background Check”). In connection with the Background Check, Inline may contact you directly and request that you provide additional personal information in order to complete the Background Check.

Under certain circumstances, AdDriver will disclose your information without your consent:

  • When we are required or authorized by law to do so, for example if a court issues a subpoena; or
  • When we believe we need to disclose information to protect our rights or property, or the rights or property of others, or to enforce this Policy or our Terms of Use.

We may share your personal information with our business partners and certain third party service providers in order to provide services to you, to verify and validate information, and to address customer service matters. Examples of service providers include our hosting provider, Handysolver (, Inline Reference Check (referenced above),Marketers and the Wrapping Provider. To reduce the risk of fraud or misuse of personal information, we may also verify your personal information with third party service providers. These service providers are not authorized by us to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. If you do not wish us to provide your personal information to those service providers, we may be unable to provide you the Services you request or adequately respond to your query.

In the event our business undergoes a fundamental change such as, for example, a sale or financing, merger, transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets (“Business Change”), we may disclose your personal information to the counterparties to the transaction and their professional advisors as necessary for them to conduct due diligence and to complete the transaction, provided that the counterparties and their professional advisors are required to maintain your information as confidential and provided that any successor to our business may only use and disclose your information for those purposes for which you have provided consent to us. Following such Business Change, you may contact the entity to which we disclosed your information with an inquiry concerning the processing of that information.

Where does my information go?

We store the personal information we collect from you on our encrypted servers, which may be operated by third party service providers located worldwide.

Please note that personal information stored on servers in the custody of these service providers may be subject to access by the law enforcement authorities of those jurisdictions in which the service providers or the servers are located. Our Privacy Officer, whose contact information is provided below, can provide further information about our policies and practices regarding service providers located outside of Canada and further information about how these service providers, collect, use, disclose or store personal information on our behalf.

How do you protect my information?

You are responsible for keeping your user account password private and confidential and for all activities that occur through the use of your user account. AdDriver takes all reasonable physical, technological and organizational steps to secure your personal information from loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your user account and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your user account or any other breach of security relating to your account. AdDriver will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of your failure to comply with this section. You may be issued a new password or required to change your password from time to time. We encourage you to create a secure password.

AdDriver has policies and procedures to protect the privacy of your personal information that we hold about you. Among the steps we take to protect your information are: physical premises security, restricted file access, technological safeguards such as encryption, firewalls and other security software, and internal password and security policies.

While we use all commercially reasonable efforts to protect the information you submit to us, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Can I access or change the information you have about me?

You can access and change your information through your user account through the settings button at any time. You can also view and update the driving logs that track the distance in the Website or App at any time. Your personal information may be accessed and edited directly after login using the personal dashboard.

You also have a right to review any of the information that we hold about you and learn about how we have used it or to whom we have disclosed it by contacting us. Subject to any exceptions prescribed by law, you can access and correct your personal information and challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information we have about you. We may deny access when required or authorized by law. For example, we may deny access when granting access would have an unreasonable impact on other people’s privacy or when necessary to protect our confidential commercial information and the requested information cannot be severed from the balance of the record in which it is contained. If we deny your request for access to, or refuse a request to correct information, we shall explain why.

What if I don’t want you to collect my information anymore?

You can withdraw your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by us at any time, but we might not be able to provide you the Services you want through our Website or App.

If you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in this Policy, you will be able to create an account, access and/or use our Website, App and may be eligible to use the Services we offer. If you choose to withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with the full functionality of the Services we offer through our Website and App. For example, as a prospective “Driver”, if you do not provide Inline with the personal information and documentation that it requests for the purposes of the Background Check, you will not be permitted to become a “Driver”.

We also do not keep your information forever. We only keep your personal information as long as reasonably necessary for us to complete our dealings with you, or as may be required by law, whichever is longer. Personal Information of Minors.

Our Website and App are not intended to solicit information of any kind from individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (“Minors”) without the required consent from their parents/guardians. If we become aware of any information we possess that may belong to a Minor, we will immediately obtain parental consent to delete this information from our servers. Our Website or App might have links in them that take you to a website, application or another page that we do not control. We may need to update or change this Policy to keep up with changes in our Website, App, Services or applicable laws. If we make changes, we will post an updated copy on the Website and App which you can always access.
